On 10th July 1857 the king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II, placed the first stone of the impressive building. The beauty and the calmness of the place  charmed the Royal Family, who designated it as a special holiday destination.
From that moment on the Royal Family had at its disposal a pure natural niche for hunting and fishing: this influential attendance gave to this place calm and privacy which continues today.
Around the first half of the 80ies the “Alpi Marittime” nature reserve was born  from the ancient Royal hunting reservation. The “Terme di Valdieri” are placed in the middle of it.

Over the years the spa has been undergoing continual restorations. The spa structures are constantly modernizing to offer guests calm, peace and modern comfort while maintaining the place original integrity.
Our goal is to guarantee maximum comfort to all our guests. The natural environment helps us in our objective, together with our competent and enthusiastic staff.
The specialized medical and paramedical team will provide assistance to all guests who plan to take advantage of the thermal treatments which are continuously updated and improved by our scientific research, in collaboration with the University of Milan.
